911 - 2001 "A Day of Tragedy"

The towers stood tall, like Americans should

Others want to be like her, if only they could

Freedom is our call, it is our cry

Today we search for answers, we wonder why

Why so much hatred, envy and strife

Why so much disregard for a human life

Someone violated our safety, Someone violated our freedom

They said I'll get their attention, by that I will cheat em

Our towers came tumbling, they came tumbling down

Causing devastation and disbelief all around

One minute the towers stood tall, the next not there at all

In God we trust, United we stand

We will overcome, hand in hand

You affected our families, penetrated so deeply our hearts

But it will take much more than this to tear our great land apart

You will answer to this crime, you've got to pay

If not on this earth, then in hell some day

America the Beautiful, Land of the brave

Let freedom ring, power, unity, resilience is the song we sing

In times of crisis, is when we come together

America will stand, Democracy will reign forever!
