March 4th, 1997
- Changed card texts to match 5th Edition text templates.
- Accursed Crypt (originally Forbidden Crypt)
was renamed because a card with the old name appeared in Mirage™.
- Falling Rocks (originally Rockslide) was
renamed because a card with the old name appeared in Mirage™.
- Preying Mantis (originally Giant Mantis)
was renamed because a card with the old name appeared in Mirage™.
June 13th, 1996
- Magewar site modernized for MS Internet Explorer 3.0
features.
February 6th, 1996
- Replaced the original mana and tap symbols copyrighted by
Wizards of the Coast® with self-designed ones.
November 24th, 1995
- Added a short text explaining the story of Magewar.
November 16th, 1995
- The set should now be finished.
- Book of the Dead was changed so that creatures
animated by the book are now removed from the game after
they leave play.
- Machine of Destruction: casting cost reduced
- Air Wyrd, Earth Wyrd, Fire Wyrd and Water
Wyrd: casting cost raised.
- Guardian of the Forests, Guardian of the
Islands, Guardian of the Mountains, Guardian
of the Plains and Guardian of the Swamps:
changed to cantrip enchantments.
- Hex: casting cost raised and changed to cantrip
- Blades of Fire: casting cost reduced, can now be
pumped with up to 3 red mana.
- Rage: casting cost raised and changed to cantrip
- Kargalyish Hero: casting cost raised
- Blessed Protection: activation cost changed to
colorless mana
November 14th, 1995
- The set finally has a name and a background story, thanks
to Alex Marzec.
- Added lots of flavor texts by Alex Marzec.
- Past Visions was changed again to take the bottom
card from the graveyard . Taking a card at random from
the graveyard was prone to mess up the order of cards in
the graveyard, which is important for cards like Nether
Shadow.
October 31st, 1995
- Atoll, Death Marsh, Steppe, Tropical
Jungle and Volcano Range no longer enter play
tapped, but now deal damage even when tapped for only one
mana.
- Mishra's Iron Golem: casting cost raised.
- Wheel of Colors: activation cost reworded.
- Demonic Gift added as replacement for the far too
powerful Lifeleech.
- Maggot Man: casting cost raised.
- Tarantula no longer gives creatures poison
counters but -0/-1 counters.
- Mana Drought reworded.
- Invisible Spirit: power and toughness reduced.
- Petrify is now a sorcery instead of an
enchantment.
- Kargalyish Behemoth: power reduced; untap cost
raised.
- Kargalyish Khan: casting cost raised.
October 30th, 1995
- Vocano Range corrected. The text incorrectly said
that Coral Reef dealed 1 damage.
- Memory Wrack reworded to prevent rules conflict
with "drawing".
October 25th, 1995
- Past Visions was changed because the old version
made it too easy to get infinite turns in combination
with Time Walk.
- Canodin's Mask added as replacement for Canodin's
Tarnkappe, because the tarnkappe's effect was duplicated
as Joven's Tools in Homelands™.
October 24th, 1995
- Atoll (originally Coral Reef) was renamed
because a card with the old name appeared in Homelands™.
- Deathtrap (originally Ambush) was renamed
because a card with the old name appeared in Homelands™.
September 27th, 1995
- Urza's Transformer was changed so that the
generated mana could not be used to pay its own
activation cost or that of another Urza's Transformer,
thus preventing the generation of infinite mana for
artifact activation.

- I have finalized the WWW format and posted all pages to
the Web.
