This is a fictional (see Disclaimer below) expansion set I designed in 1995 for Magic: the Gathering. It consists of 142 cards, 17 of which are lands, 30 artifacts and 19 spells of each color. 61 cards are rare [U1], 30 are uncommon [U2] and 51 are common [C1] or [C3]. There are 7 rare, 5 uncommon and 5 common lands, 19 rare and 11 common artifacts, and 7 rare, 5 uncommon and 7 common cards of each color. This is based on the 121-card printsheet WotC used until Homelands. Starting with Alliances WotC began using 110-card sheets.
Most of the flavor text was written by Alex Marzec, who came up with a beautiful background story for this set. Thanks a lot.
Please feel free to criticize or comment on my cards. Your feedback will be appeciated.
Changes to this set were last made on March 4th, 1997.
Thanks to the following people who provided me with useful criticism and inspiration: David West, Joseph W. DeVincentis, and again, Alex Marzec for his invaluable aid in designing the background story and providing the flavor texts.
Magewar is not a real expansion set!
Magewar is neither endorsed nor published by Wizards of the Coast®. In fact, it will most likely never be published. It is just something I thought up.
