Keine Lügen mehr Gott keine glatten Worte
nur noch Wahrheit zu Wahrheit was für ein Wagnis
so vor Dir zu stehen
mit all meiner Wut
mit meinen Zweifeln meinen Tränen meiner Enttäuschung
mit all meiner Ehrlichkeit und all meinem Mut
sage ich Dir wie es ist Gott
kein Selbstbetrug mehr kein falsches Lächeln
keine Schönfärberei
Einfach ich selbst Gott so wie ich bin ohne Vorzeigeglauben
einfach ich selbst Gott die all ihre Hoffnung auf Dich setzt

God, I don´t want to lie to you anymore.
What a scary thing, to stand true before Truth.
Now I´m me with you.
Me the one who screams with rage,
Me the angry one.
Me the one who often doubts,
Me the disappointed one.
Me the one who often weeps,
Me the honest one.
No more empty, self-protecting lies.
No more "Im OK."
No more "I believe."
Just me, and "Help my unbelief."
